The Vampire Diana heart ring has been a Jewel of the Month before, but I’ve got to revisit it for this Valentine’s Day/anti-Valentine’s Day countdown. My Vampire Diana designs — hearts with stakes through them — were inspired by my favorite bloodsucker, Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I started out with a silver ring with a blackened stake through it.
Then came the matching necklace, also in silver.
But once I start working on a design, I have to take it to the maximum. I’m the jewelry version of Nigel from This Is Spinal Tap, whose amp goes to 11. I’m one louder than everyone else!
That’s what led to this 18K gold heart ring with a removable sterling silver stake.
The #WendyBrandes Vampire Diana ring is 18K yellow gold, with a removable sterling silver "stake." Perfect for #VampireDiaries, #Buffy, and #Twilight fans looking for a little luxe. Or as @thejewelryaltar pointed out around Valentine's Day, a punctured heart could be the ultimate #statementring for a happy divorcee! #LoveGold #instavideo #video
Take a closer look. Stake in …
… and stake out.
Note the detailed wood “grain” engraved in the stake! See? Taking it to 11.
I believe I have one last vampire stake necklace in stock, for those who want the stake alone. I can’t promise anything, but there might be one hanging around here.
It sucks to have a wounded heart … unless that heart is sterling silver or 18K gold. Then it’s awesome!
