When I admired a gel-filled PVC clutch by Christopher Kane in May, I didn’t imagine I’d see the look again …
… but today, I spotted Kotur’s gel-filled, acrylic “Pink Snow Globe Clutch” on New York Magazine’s website.
I’ve got to keep my eye out for more of these. They remind me of lava lamps, but also of some see-through toys with multi-colored goop inside that I played with as a kid, as well as my clear Super Ball with rainbow swirls in it. If I do get a gel clutch, I’ll have to carry candy cigarettes in it, to complete the childhood vibe.

My only trouble regarding most of these type of bags is they are usually clear. Allowing everyone to see everything you carry. No thanks. This one however, doesn’t seem to be see-through. With that problem taken care of, I want one. 🙂
Transparency okay though, because we’re only going to be carrying our candy cigarettes, Ring Pops and Pixy Stix in these!
And some red licorice torpedoes to double as lipsticks!
so cute and i have a fondness in my heart for snowglobes
son2 has one for every place he has ever visited in his 18 years.

I guess I’m missing something here. These aren’t warming my heart, but at least I can save my hard earned dollars for something else. Like maybe a WB ring or bracelet; I think those will stand the test of time. I’ll indulge my inner child with some wax lips or something, if they’re still around. I just have to remember to spit them out before they disintegrate!
Someone gave me wax lips with vampire fangs a while ago! And I guarantee my pieces will stand the test of time. I keep that in mind when I design them 🙂
omg i kinda like these!
I like the design of the Kotur bag, but love the goopyness of the Christopher Kane one. XXX Suzanne
Wow! Those are super cool Wendy!
OMG I forgot all about those candy cigarettes. I used to buy them all the time hah Now I buy real ones.
