Houndstooth on Huffington Post

October 28, 2011 by WendyB

Go over to the Huffington Post’s Stylelist section today for my story about bloggers wearing the houndstooth trend. Don’t forget to leave some nice comments for the participants!

I discovered two more houndstooth-wearing bloggers after deadline, so I’ll share them now (click their photos to visit their blogs).  Here’s Sal of Already Pretty wearing a vintage houndstooth dress as a duster.

Click to visit Sal.

Susan Tiner of Style Made By Hand won a houndstooth Karina dress from Une femme d’un certain age.

While I was writing the Stylelist post, I found an oversize-houndstooth sweater from Fred Perry’s Amy Winehouse collection (the collection has other houndstooth pieces too).

I was very, very tempted but I’m not a fan of such long tops on me, so one of you has to get it instead. I consoled myself with this houndstooth hat from San Diego Hat Company.

Now that I have a winter hat, I don’t need a head-beret, which means I should get the beret jacket I posted earlier this week. Right? Right? Anyway …

I really think you would rock this hat!!! (even though you may not “need it”) lol.
Kinda reminds me of the one from The Devil Wears Prada…..too bad I look like a bag of trash in a hat, or Id snag it up myself!

    Happy weekend lady!

Cute hat! It looks similar to a hat I have. (Sorry I didn’t send the photo in, but I’m not particularly fond of those old photos!)

That round up is so full of houndstoothy goodness. I still think the print looks like Galaga monsters.

You know, houndstooth has never been my thing, but I really like that sweater. And, natch, your models wear it perfectly.

I’m woefully behind and I just wanted to say how much I loved this. All the ladies rock houndstooth and look completely different, too. x
