Congratulations, SATC2 Polyvore Contest Winners!

May 24, 2010 by WendyB

Thank you to everyone who entered the Polyvore contest for my Sex and the City 2 earrings. I loved all the entries so much that I cracked under the stress, thought I was on American Idol and developed multiple-personality judging disorder. First, I got hostile like Simon Cowell. Then I got delirious like Paula Abdul. Now I’m Randy Jackson.

Aight, dawgs! The first runner-up and winner of my Teeny Genie necklace is ~Adorable~T. She used my gold Cleopatra earrings and Diana ring to create this green-themed set for Carrie.

The winner of my $450 silver Cleopatra earrings is ♥Rachel♥, who used the silver Cleopatras and the silver Madame Royale fleur-de-lis necklace in this summery, yellow-and-white Carrie set.

Big thanks to gorgeous Polyvorist DIDESI for hosting the contest on her Sex and the City Polyvore group and helping me judge. I encourage you to check out all the beautiful contest entries here. If you don’t agree with our decision, feel free to yell, “I don’t even care…they don’t know what they’s talkin’ about!” like Stewie from Family Guy when he was rejected by American Idol.

If you want to experience the SATC2 earrings another way — and do a good thing by raising money for the famous Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts –A  bid to have cocktails with me in a gorgeous penthouse apartment. In other words, you can help out deserving high school students by drinking more. How perfect is that?

Well, at least you didn’t pull a “Seacrest, out” ! xP But congrats on the winners of your contest; I’m partial to Rachel’s myself, mainly because of the fleur de lis, my city’s symbol. 🙂

oo these are really cool! Good picks!

PS A friend of mine from college wrote her English thesis on Virginia Woolf so naturally I showed her your silver woolf necklace a few months ago. Today she called me asking for the url to the woolf necklace page, perhaps a purchase from a fellow Woolf enthusiast? Hope it works out.
