Marcel Ostertag

November 24, 2008 by WendyB

Thanks to kink-tastic blogger Asudem Latex of Doll’s Realm for pointing out the work of Munich-based designer Marcel Ostertag. Asudem had written about this designer before but this time the photos really grabbed me: shiny fabric, ruffles and leopard print … and shiny leopard print! What more could I ask for? Well, I suppose I could ask for this line to be sold in the U.S. so I could try some pieces on.

Check out Ostertag’s collection here.

Another latex piece (pointed out by Notcouture) is this pleated skirt by Mattijs Van Bergen.

Available at Browns for 350 pounds

Beautiful, isn’t it?

    Why, yes it is!

I think you should just toss out your Thanksgiving travel plans and fly over to Germany, go to the Ostertag showroom, and try on all the shiny leopard pieces they have. Then you might care a lot more for Thanksgiving.

    (“surfas” was my w.v.)

Oh, my, that blue skirt is sure pretty. And I can just see you in shiny leopard items, WendyB, smiling happily.

Mama and I would love to show you around Portland, any ol’ time. She did say, “That’s a long way to come” when I read your comment to her.

That pleated skirt would be gorgeous in any other fabric, but in latex it’s just … so one-of-a-kind…

Which came first – Ostertag or Kelly Wearstler?! I swear she had the exact same hairdo in a past episode of Top Design.
