My Dogs Are Lazy

December 7, 2007 by WendyB

This is an old clip, but new to me. Check out Faith, the biped dog!

Look at Faith hopping along! My dogs have four legs, more or less, and will barely get off the damn couch. I say more or less because Gigi has a spinal cord injury and Henry has a deformed paw. Henry’s paw always hurts when he needs to walk to the vet or to a beauty appointment, yet it is miraculously cured when it is time to go home. It also hurts when it rains or snows, and when it is too hot or too cold. Let’s face it. He is a lazy bastard and a drama queen.

Henry: “I’m exhausted.”

I took a look at Faith’s website. Faith’s mom has written some books, and I really loved her comment about one of them: “I do like to warn people, the ‘f’ word is in the book, so please have an adult read it through before you read it if you are under 14 years old.” That is fucking adorable!

Gigi: “I’m a porn star.”

Here are some other links for dog lovers or, as Sarah Jessica Parker and I like to say when we’re hanging out on her couch watching Desperate Housewives and enjoying some Chardonnay, “lovahs.”

On a sadder note, it’s the anniversary of John Lennon’s murder. And I still can’t believe George Harrison wasn’t killed in this attack. I am a big fan of Olivia Harrison for giving the intruder the beatdown. Paul McCartney should ask her to help him out with his Heather problem. Oh my God! I can’t believe I brought up Heather in a post about a dog with missing legs.

wait, DUDE. speaking of Sara Jessica Parker, you mean to say that episode of SATC where her book reading is overshadowed by a fake-looking dog — that thing is REAL?

OH THE MELDING OF REALITY AND FICTION
    it blows the very mind.

Gigi and Henry are adorable- I love how grumpy they look.
It’s a little bizarre to think that there’s only Paul and Ringo left…I know I wasn’t anywhere near alive in the 1960s, but somehow to me they’ll always be those boys in suits. Rather Peter Pan of me, but there it is.

That Henry picture may well be the funniest dog picture I’ve seen.

I’ve only seen two others, though.

If I was a dog, I’d be the lazy one. Not the porn one – I’m too lazy. You’re a crazy lady and I heart you!!!!

Sometimes my cats act all doggish and roll around on the floor like Gigi in the “porn-picture”. Your dogs are really cute! They remind me of my sister’s dogs (but hers are tibetanian spaniels).

You can ship Henry and Gigi over to me in Australia anytime you want!
You know, I did not think about the 3 legged dog and Heather Mills in the one post until you pointed it out!
    LOL
Not picking on you at all, when I can’t think of Heather Mills name I call her “hoppy”.
    Now, who’s a bad girl???

Freelancer, we’ve recently come to suspect that Gigi is 95% Tibetan Spaniel and has just been passing for 95% Pekingese all these years. Lady Jicky, didn’t you love Heather’s stories about how Paul allegedly stabbed her with a glass and made her crawl on the floor without her leg? I mean, please! One of my friends said that if Paul dragged her down Abbey Road by her hair while simultaneously beating her with her own leg, people would still hate her!

I’m so glad you left a comment on my blog so that I could find yours! What an amazing dog. this may sound crass, but she actually reminds me of a girl in class with me who has no arms. I never noticed until one day the prof was taking questions and asked “uhm, is that a hand or a foot up?” and the girl smoothly replied: “it’s a foot, so would you say that this realist perspective of world political systems, blah blah blah” but ever since then I watched her and she is amazing! She took her final exam with her toes! She combs her hair with her feet (and if you’ve ever had to demonstrate this to someone, you’ll understand how amazing flexible you’d have to be.) At any rate, now that you thnk I’m thoroughly weird, I’m off to enjoy more of your posts and hunt down all those concerned with medieval history. Cheers boogaloo!

aaaw, yoiur dogs are lovely. I love small dogs. Wish I could have one, but the place i Live is very small and my mother doesn’t like animals because ‘they poop everywhere’ and i can’t clean their s*it because I spent almost all day at the university, when i move out (which is not close to happen soon) i will have four dogs, a pug, a yorkshire terrier, a peruvian hairless dog and a chihuahua =P. Well, if i can’t have four, I’ll have two (the first two ones).

Yes, Dorkas, there is a Mr. Winkle. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion and extreme cuteness and genetic mishaps exist. Aisha, I love pugs; I’m glad you plan to start with one. Lynette, they ARE rather intrusive, aren’t they!

Hahaha I posted a whole Heather Mills diatribe on Live Journal the other day. It was a little…merciless. I was in a pissy mood and she’s a shrill harpy so you know, I figured it was fair…

OH MY GOD the doggie cuteness is killing me.

I remember the day John Lennon died. It was early morning (in the UK) and I was eating cornflakes and procrastinating because I hadn’t done my arithmetic homework and didn’t want to go to school and my mom was all “WILL YOU GET YOUR ARSE INTO THE CAR RIGHT NOW?” and it came on the radio.
