I was pleased when Breaking Bad won twice at the Golden Globes last night. The show took the Globe for Best Television Series – Drama, and its star, Bryan Cranston, won Best Actor in a Television Series – Drama, for his performance as chemistry-teacher-turned-meth-kingpin Walter White. (I thought Aaron Paul should have won for supporting actor and, really, Dean Norris deserved a nomination for his performance as Hank Schrader, aka “My name is ASAC Schrader, and you can go fuck yourself!”)
In September, I made 10 Heisenberg hat single stud earrings — named for White’s murderous drug-cooking alter-ego — to celebrate Breaking Bad‘s finale.
