Keeping an Eye on eBay

May 7, 2008 by WendyB

Check out this bold ’60s shift with matching coat. It’s so Stephen Sprouse! Click on the photos to get to the auction.

This Bastille-Day-themed Lanvin dress is perfect for one of you Francophiles.

And for those willing to shell out the big bucks, I think this origami-like Zandra Rhodes jacket is exquisite.

If you’re going to bid on anything, please snipe!

Hi Wendy, I have to say I love your jewelry designs. Previously, I’d never heard of sniping either. Thanks for the tip; and I’m adding you to my blogroll 🙂

I signed up for the sniping service after someone sniped a J Crew dress out from under me. I like that I can change and delete bids!!! Great advice!

I’ve always stayed away from sniping-too complicated, feels like cheating, lacks some of the rush. But I am so sick of losing EVERYTHING. I may need to snipe after all.

I LOVE that Zandra Rhodes jacket. It’s divine. Maybe they’ll accept my offer.

By the way, I’m finally adding you to my blogroll Wendy! We seem to run in the same online circles and have never virtually met.

Sandra, I find bidnapper very easy to use. Sniping has been around for years and eBay is fine with it. I think it’s worse to run up the price for everyone by bidding and rebidding than it is to snipe.
