Gorgeous clothing designer<\/a>\/blogger<\/a> Stacy Lomman and I had a joint meet-and-greet with a number of magazine editors, stylists and bloggers on Wednesday. It’s important for journalists to see my designs up close. Even the best photos don’t convey the beauty of jewelry the way seeing a ring on your own finger does. And Stacy’s clothes complement my pieces nicely.<\/p>\n

I opted for a pair of Versace<\/a> pants that I hadn’t worn since 2008<\/a>. You can see my jewels displayed behind me.<\/p>\n

In 2005, I went to a strip club while wearing these pants. No, I was not stripping! I was hanging out with some lady friends. Guys kept coming up to me and saying, “I like your pants” and trying to buy me drinks. I thought that was a strange financial decision. Here you are at a strip club. Give $20 to a stripper and she’ll bounce around topless on your lap. Buy me a $20 drink and you get a whole lot of nothing. Well, perhaps I’ll smile in your direction and, I must admit, my smile is priceless. Maybe it makes sense after all.<\/p>\n
