I never imagined I’d be able to outdo my recent Drysdale Awards,<\/a> so I’m beyond thrilled to say I’m a finalist in the fine jewelry category of Fashion Group International’s Rising Star Awards for emerging talent<\/a>! The list of all the categories and nominees is in WWD<\/a> today.<\/p>\n

FGI <\/a>is a nonprofit organization that helps its 5,000 fashion-industry members stay on top of what’s going on in their fast-changing business. It’s a great way to network. I like that it’s very inclusive, representing women’s and men’s apparel, accessories, beauty and home\/interior design professions. FGI members are voting on the Rising Star contenders this month. The awards will announced at a lunch on January 27. (Tickets to the event are for sale here<\/a>.)\u00a0 Cross your fingers for me that voters show my Chicken in Egg locket<\/a>, Matilda sword necklace<\/a> and Hathor swivel ring<\/a> some love.<\/p>\n
