I’m yearning for warmer weather in part because I miss wearing the vintage Philip Treacy hat I got last year. (It’s a good weight for spring, summer and fall, but too light for New York winters.) The hat has Andy Warhol’s portrait of Elizabeth Taylor on it and I love the way her lips match my Lasting Lust lip color<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Because of my recent nostalgia for my ’80s love of Liza Minnelli’s style<\/a>, it would be hard to resist a Treacy Liza hat.<\/p>\n

The Marilyn Monroe hat is the one that I remember best from when this collection first came out, but it’s my least favorite now. Marilyn images are too common — and too many starlets<\/a> claim Marilyn<\/a> is their idol.<\/p>\n
