His son nicknamed him &#8220;Mr. Laugh-Head&#8221; after one particularly egregious episode. My cellphone sat quietly beside me, oblivious to AT&amp;T&#8217;s puny signal and, therefore, Richard Belzer&#8217;s attempt to reach me. I knew nothing until hours later when MrB called me on the landline to tell me to check my voicemail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It probably worked out for the best. If the call had come through and I heard Richard Belzer live, I would have fainted\/said something idiotic\/yelled at MrB for hiring a bad Richard Belzer impersonator. In addition, I wouldn&#8217;t have this voicemail to treasure forever.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/00150072.wav\" target=\"_blank\">Click to hear my message from Richard Belzer!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yep, that&#8217;s MrB laughing in the background.
