She Can’t Believe She Said That!<\/a> (subtitled The Rise and Fall and Fall and Rise of Kathie Lee Gifford nee Epstein<\/em>) is the highlariously demented brain child of Matt Prager, a South Park<\/a> writer. Broadway actress Heather Laws<\/a> pulls out all the stops while singing lines like “I used to be a Jew … now I’m Christian-er than you.” With clever choreography and staging, this is definitely a must-see.<\/p>\n

Because bloggers often request suggestions for things to do while in New York, I decided I would do the occasional post on the topic, especially if the activity or place is off the beaten path. This musical is in a tiny little theater on the third floor of a building on West 36th Street, so it’s not the kind of thing you’d normally stumble upon. If you’re in town this week, I highly recommend catching this. The show will be performed tomorrow at 4:30 PM, Saturday at 4:30 PM and Sunday at 1 PM. Tickets are available here <\/a>for $20.<\/p>\n
