Those jeans are not cutting it. They’re cuffed to capri-length and slim-fitting, and they don’t have the slouchy look that I’m interested in, so I’ve finally broken down and ordered a pair of the Acnes on sale. I’ll report back on whether those are sex-ay or vomit-ay.<\/p>\n

The jeans in the Copenhagen picture have a longer history than some of you bloggers. They were low-rise, boot-cut jeans that I got during the time when that was the only style you could find. I was desperate for skinny jeans<\/a> so I got these altered but then I wasn’t crazy about the length. I got around that problem by cuffing them to show off my boots in the winter. Then, one summer, I fell while wearing them and tore a hole in the knee, so I started wearing them just to schlep around. By this summer, I was so sick of them that almost threw them out, but they’d become so soft and pajama-like that I rescued them from the bag to wear around the house. I’m wearing them now. What?!
