Are there elves in a workshop slaving over odd little things to pass around on<a href=\"http:\/\/encyclopediadramatica.com\/Teh\"> teh<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/encyclopediadramatica.com\/Internets\">Internets<\/a>? Does <a href=\"http:\/\/encyclopediadramatica.com\/Al_Gore\">Al Gore<\/a> have a workshop? If he does, is he paying the elves a living wage?<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, you&#8217;ve probably all seen this one by now. It&#8217;s an award, created by Al Gore&#8217;s slave elves and passed around the blogosphere by nice people who think one&#8217;s blog is both brillante and premio. I&#8217;m very honored to have received the Brillante Weblog Premio-2008 award from six people.<\/p>\n<p><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_gTmdbGeiE-E\/SIdS5nMGCLI\/AAAAAAAAD00\/bDZ2PSfV78I\/s1600-h\/brillianteweblogpremioaward.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_gTmdbGeiE-E\/SIdS5nMGCLI\/AAAAAAAAD00\/bDZ2PSfV78I\/s400\/brillianteweblogpremioaward.jpg\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5226237042312480946\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>I&#8217;m supposed to write all the rules of the award and pass the award around to a certain number of other blogs and so on and so forth. I&#8217;m not going to do the rules because elves are not the boss of me. And, because I think everyone I know has gotten this already, I&#8217;m just going to pass it back to the gorgeous bloggers who gave it to me. In a good way.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/hipstermusings.blogspot.com\/2008\/07\/overuse-of-brilliant.html\">Hipster Musings?<\/a>: Because she was brave enough to stick to her blog despite the <a href=\"http:\/\/wbjewelry.blogspot.com\/2008\/07\/bookmarked.html\">haters<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/timesofglory.blogspot.com\/2008\/07\/3-tags-and-1-award.html\">Times of Glory<\/a>: An awesome shopping companion and generous giver of chocolates.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/prettyfaceshelpinraces.blogspot.com\/2008\/07\/qu-noticias-brillantes.html\">A Pretty Face<\/a>: She thinks I&#8217;m scary, and I like that.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mamafasha.blogspot.com\/2008\/07\/wow-thank-you-so-much.html\">Mama Fasha<\/a>: For her <a href=\"http:\/\/mamafasha.blogspot.com\/2008\/04\/losing-my-head.html\">impeccable taste<\/a> and for returning to blogging after a long absence.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/lipstickbitches.blogspot.com\/2008\/07\/you-like-me-you-really-like-me.html\">Lipstick Bitches<\/a>: Because any blog with the word &#8220;bitches&#8221; in the title is certified premio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are the only person in the world who hasn&#8217;t gotten this, please leave a comment here and I will announce your award with great fanfare. <\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Where the hell do memes come from?
