I am amused by the “Thoughtful Tote” from Takashimaya<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The description includes this: “After years of use, simply mail it in and the company will reconfigure it for you. ” This does provoke quite a lot of thought, especially because I’m not clear on who the manufacturer is. Do you find out only after you buy the tote for $350? Are we sure that company will still be in business after “years of use”? How do we define “years of use”? What if I had buyer’s remorse about buying a tote and wanted it reconfigured into a clutch after mere weeks of use?
