Wash the jeans as infrequently as possible (a good recommendation for all jeans unless you are striving for the broken-in look) and when you do wash them….hand-wash! With my first pair of these jeans, I debated the cleaning process for months and finally took them to a dry cleaner, as suggested by the label. They shrank in a big way and I had to give them to a friend’s very skinny daughter. Now I won’t even put them in the washing machine. Very inconvenient, and definitely a drawback for this brand.
