Okay, Rihanna didn’t literally steal my dress like Britney Spears once stole my ring<\/a>, but this Dolce & Gabbana dress should still be mine.<\/p>\n

I am the queen of leopard print<\/a> and I declare this Dolce is the best leopard dress of all time … OF ALL TIME, as Kanye West <\/a>would say. I’m in love with the combination of outrageous two-tone leopard (oh, and red<\/a> is my favorite color) with the conservative neckline and sleeves. When I saw Rihanna wearing the dress last month<\/a>,\u00a0 I simply had to have one of my own. Alas! I called stores across the U.S. and England and it’s sold out in my size. The fact that the fashion police at US Magazine and In Touch scorned the dress is further evidence of its perfection. I know from personal experience that great leopard dresses are often criticized by people with no pizzazz.<\/p>\n

While searching for the dress, I picked up a purple consolation prize, also by Dolce & Gabbana. I wore it earlier this week to a dinner at which my friend Carl Spielvogel received an award from the National Urban Technology Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n
