My post about Sex and the City 2<\/a> was such an epic endeavor that I’m too exhausted to write much. Luckily, I have beautiful client photos to share.<\/p>\n

Moving from bikinis to boots, here is gorgeous client\/vintage queen Ellen wearing a spectacular pair of boots while being naughty with my swear rings<\/a>. About her pose, she said to me, “What’s the most provocative thing a person can do these days? Seriously, a sex tape isn’t even risque anymore. Light a smoke!”<\/p>\n

I immediately recognized those embroidered boots as being by Golo. I have always dreamed of having a pair of those! What shoe size are you, Ellen? I guess I have to keep an eye on her vintage website, Kakkoii Mono<\/a>, and see if Golos in my size turn up in her spectacular shoe collection<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In keeping with her vintage theme, Ellen also took some black-and-white photos. Do any of you remember the days when we had to choose between black-and-white film and color film? Price was the deciding factor. (When I did a post on Joy Division<\/a>, I learned that the primarily black-and-white photos of the band didn’t represent an aesthetic choice, but budget constraints.) Personally, I remember figuring out how many exposures I could afford — 24 or 36? — and then carefully planning my photo-taking so I wouldn’t run out of film too soon. After the film was developed, I never threw out a photo no matter how bad it was, because I had so few. How things have changed! In some ways, it was easier to take a picture in the pre-digital era because we only had that one precious shot. Now we have to peer at screens and snap away until we get a photo that’s just right.<\/p>\n

Finally, gorgeous client\/author\/lawyer Elizabeth Wurtzel<\/a> isn’t showing her face, but she took a nice close-up of her silver Juana necklace<\/a> layered with another, non-WendyB necklace. I think the combination looks great.<\/p>\n
