It&#8217;s based on the true story of ex-strippers who started drugging men and maxing out their credit cards. Definitely not behavior I encourage, but it made for a great film. Here&#8217;s the original, fascinating article by Jessica Pressler &#8212; maybe read it after you see the movie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/jessicapressler.com\/the-hustlers-at-scores\/498\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;THE HUSTLERS AT SCORES&#8221; by Jessica Pressler<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You may have heard of this movie because of Jennifer Lopez&#8217;s spectacular first scene, which is a pole dance to Fiona Apple&#8217;s &#8220;Criminal.&#8221;\u00a0 It has to be seen to be believed.\u00a0 J. Lo is 50 &#8212; a year and a half younger than I am, but I didn&#8217;t have a body like this at <em>any<\/em> age! Lo interview clip from 2006<\/a> had long ago disappeared from YouTube. I swear, I have never stopped thinking about J. Lo&#8217;s reaction when she was asked to &#8220;defend her outfit.&#8221; I&#8217;ve been like, &#8220;How can this iconic &#8216;Wear What You Want&#8217; moment simply vanish from teh Interwebs?&#8221; Well, friends, I JUST FOUND THE CLIP on MTV&#8217;s website.
