I mentioned <a href=\"http:\/\/wbjewelry.blogspot.com\/2008\/01\/what-is-this.html\">the Hypebeast forums previously<\/a> when I discovered a post showing an ugly gold belt that was credited to Wendy Brandes Jewelry of London. I posted this in response:<\/p>\n<pre wrap=\"\">Is there a Wendy Brandes Jewelry in London? Wendy Brandes Jewelry in New York wants to know. And who would waste that much gold on a belt, even as a publicity stunt?<\/pre>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hypebeast.com\/forum\/index.php?s=20c857b73dfb05a378f07a6496f6f271\">Hypebeast<\/a> administrators responded by deleting the thread and banning me from the forums for being spam. I&#8217;ve tried to contact them at least three times to demand an explanation and all I get is radio silence. I&#8217;m still banned. Here&#8217;s hoping the Hypebeast assholes Google themselves and decide to use the comments here to explain why it is okay for someone to throw my name around in a spammish way and for me to be blamed for it.  <a href=\"http:\/\/wbjewelry.blogspot.com\/2008\/01\/more-shenanigans.html\">Money Clothing<\/a>, whose name was also attached to the questionable belt,  did not respond to my request for comment either.<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"http:\/\/wbjewelry.blogspot.com\/2008\/01\/google-loves-wendy-brandes.html\">I&#8217;ve said before<\/a>, I do know of another Wendy Brandes in New York, so it&#8217;s not like I totally ruled out the existence of a Wendy Brandes Jewelry in London. But I think the reaction to my post is a pretty good indication that something shady was going on.<\/p>\n<p>On a happier note, another photo of a pair of Dewdrop Earrings has straggled in.
