I’ve been dressing very casually lately, so I made a point of putting on a dress for MrB’s belated birthday dinner on Sunday.<\/p>\n

This dress by Alexander McQueen is homegrown vintage. I wore it for the first time during a 2010 trip to L.A., for dinner with my fashion-blogger friends<\/a>. In the 2010 photo below, it looks like I might be holding my squishy, patent Prada bag from 2007<\/a>, which happens to be the same bag I carried for this year’s birthday dinner.<\/p>\n

<\/center>Meanwhile, even as more people get into the idea of slow fashion, I’m having a “yikes” moment about it.
