MrB almost always attends the annual Gerald Loeb Awards<\/a> for business and financial journalism. He got the Loeb lifetime achievement award himlsef in 2002<\/a>, and I don’t think a year’s gone by when someone hasn’t thanked him in an acceptance speech.<\/p>\n

I often go to the Loebs with him to catch up with people I’ve known since my Dow Jones News Service\/Wall Street Journal days<\/a>. The 2019 Loebs were tonight and I wore a vintage Ossie Clark dress that I got in 2004, meaning it’s “double vintage<\/a>” now.<\/p>\n

Alix, a journalism friend who got a Loeb award for editing in 2010<\/a>, complimented the Ossie and asked if she had seen it before. I was pretty sure she had. When I came home and checked the blog I found out I was right! I wore the same dress (and shoes) to the Loebs just three years ago. I have to say that my posing game was much better that year.<\/p>\n
