I explained that sample sizes &#8212; by definition &#8212; are not &#8220;one size fits all,&#8221; so it&#8217;s not a personal insult if a dress designed for one particular model to wear a single time on a runway doesn&#8217;t magically fit a random celebrity. It&#8217;s also not an outrage if a designer expects a celebrity to pay for her clothes like everyone else does. I explain why ring sample sizes are average, rather than super-petite like runway clothing samples &#8212; which <em>still<\/em> doesn&#8217;t make a design &#8220;one size fits all.&#8221; I also discuss why I don&#8217;t loan a lot of jewelry out anymore, and what a celebrity could say to finesse a jewelry gift from me. Cardi has talked about being a gang member too, and I&#8217;m not convinced it wasn&#8217;t all part of creating a bad-bitch persona. This kind of thing has happened before: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesmokinggun.com\/documents\/crime\/akons-con-job\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Singer Akon claimed an extensive faux-felonious past for street cred<\/a>, and rapper <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/report-rick-ross-worked-as-a-florida-corrections-officer-245806\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rick Ross bragged about selling cocaine<\/a> before it was reported that he actually worked as a corrections officer. Even after photos of him in uniform surfaced, Ross issued denials for months before <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mtv.com\/news\/1606926\/rick-ross-finally-admits-prison-guard-past\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">finally confessing to a law-enforcing past<\/a>. I&#8217;m going to need some evidence besides braggadocio and self-promoting videos.
