Talk about slow fashion! The dress was already over 40 years old when I got it<\/a>!<\/li>\n<li>Friday, Feb. 22: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2019\/02\/flashback-friday-konstantin-and-ossie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">That time I met Konstantin from <em>Killing Eve<\/em><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Saturday, Feb. 23: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2019\/02\/killing-eve-slays-fashion-with-floof\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Speaking of <em>Killing Eve<\/em>, wasn&#8217;t that pink tulle dress spectacular<\/a>?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Oscars are tonight, so you can expect my prestigious <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/category\/celebrities\/best-dressed-wear-what-you-want-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Best Dressed\/Wear What You Want award<\/a> to be handed out along with those less exciting ones like &#8220;Best Picture.&#8221;\u00a0 No doubt I&#8217;ll be tweeting up a storm, so you can follow that <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WendyBrandes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. And if you haven&#8217;t watched this week&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCffTpc4r3ru3j5T6MwxsMVQ\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube video<\/a>, it&#8217;s about the entitlement some celebrities have come to feel about red-carpet fashion, so it&#8217;s timely!<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pae5BmmsoNw\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I would like to hear people like Bebe Rexha and Megan Mullally articulate why it&#8217;s an insult if they have to buy their own awards-show dresses. I&#8217;ve bought all my special-occasion dresses without ever feeling the need to alert the media to any form of discrimination against me, and probably you readers have done so too.
