I was expecting Cardi to have the look of the night, yet Kollin&#8217;s finds for her still exceeded my expectations. (Cardi&#8217;s ability to carry off anything he found for her was never in doubt!)<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the more important issue is that &#8212; believe it or not &#8212; Cardi is the <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2019\/music\/news\/cardi-b-rap-album-grammys-first-solo-woman-1203135382\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">first solo woman to win in this category<\/a>. (In 1997, Lauryn Hill won as part of her group, Fugees.)
