Because I lost my own damn ring! I always give advice to customers about how to cope with AWOL jewelry &#8212; this week&#8217;s video is about how annoyed I was\u00a0to have\u00a0to\u00a0take my own advice.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7p2yDz3Sw8U\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n<p>While I still haven&#8217;t found my ring (and don&#8217;t believe I will), an unrelated household organization project did uncover this first-ever, wedding-day photo of the ring from July 22, 2001. I was working at an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2014\/04\/never-is-the-next-new-thing-my-bio-and-columbia-spectator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">investment bank<\/a> when MrB and I got married, and I always say those rings led to my next career. In other words, this wedding band had extra significance. What do you think? Should I remake it just as it was or do something entirely new? I&#8217;m leaning toward the latter but I&#8217;d like it to still &#8220;speak to&#8221; my engagement ring like this one did. That creates more of a challenge, but it&#8217;s one I probably won&#8217;t have to worry about for quite a long time.
