I’ve always been semi-irritated, semi-amused by celebrity photos shoots<\/a> that make a big fuss about their subjects being sans fards<\/a><\/em> — wearing no makeup. Maybe it’s because I work for myself, and most days I don’t wear any makeup (or even much in the way of clothing). I see myself bare-faced all the time, so I don’t need to take a picture of it.<\/p>\n

That said, I did wind up taking a sans fards<\/em> photo yesterday — one that was much better than the typical front-facing-camera, double-chinned surprise shot<\/a> — while I made numerous attempts to get this photo of my natural hair texture. <\/p>\n
