Excited am I that my Agrippina poison ring<\/a> is part of the Star Wars-themed window display at Steve Quick Jeweler in Chicago!<\/p>\n

The windows were designed by Melissa Quick’s nine-year-old nephew, Hank, who took great care to ensure that each scene represented a different movie as accurately as possible.\u00a0 “In the few weeks since they went up we have had soooo many people stop, take pictures and even come in to comment on how incredible they are,” Melissa reports. “It is fair to say they are one of our most popular window displays we have done in the last 10 years.”<\/p>\n

Hank accepted a ticket to see the The Last Jedi<\/em> as payment for his services. I considered telling him that he should demand a 10% commission on any window-related sales, but I don’t want the Quicks to take revenge upon me by slipping Jar Jar Binks into my scene.<\/p>\n

These Star Wars windows went into our Lincoln Park store right after New Years. In the few weeks since they went up we have had soooo many people stop, take pictures and even come in to comment on how incredible they are. It is fair to say they are one of our most popular window displays we have done in the last 10 years. The visual merchandiser is my 9 year old nephew Hank (see his artist statement in the photos). He put a lot of time into their planning and installation. It was imperative that each scene represent a different movie as accurately as possible. I love what he did. It\u2019s everything I could hope for. It shows the world we are creative, like to have fun and don\u2019t take ourselves too seriously. When someone who has never set foot into a jewelry store comes in to compliment us it\u2019s a win! #MissionAccomplished #starwars #display #theforceisstrong #ilovemyjob #stevequickjeweler<\/a><\/p>\n
