My blog turned 10 years old earlier this year, and I suddenly became curious about what — if anything — I’d published on Thanksgiving over the years. So here’s a look back at those posts.<\/p>\n

Nov. 22, 2007<\/strong>: I decided to look ahead to New Year’s Eve dresses. Why? I’m not sure. This was back in the days of teeny tiny blog photos too. The only dress of the ones I picked that I still really love is this yellow one by Dolce & Gabbana. It has a boob bow, and I’ve never lost my affection for those.<\/p>\n

Nov. 24, 2011<\/strong>: The Committee to Protect Journalists dinner has traditionally been the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. (This year was the first time it was earlier!<\/a>) My Thanksgiving post for 2011 was about <\/a>being thankful for press freedom<\/a>. I posted my CPJ outfit the day before, along with a photo of it from six years earlier.<\/p>\n

Nov. 22, 2012<\/strong>: The truth came out: I HATE Thanksgiving<\/a>. I think there’s too much eating (and of turkey too, which mostly sucks); too much football; plus there are people who actually believe the nonsense we were taught in school about the founding of this country. There’s one thing about Thanksgiving that I like, however, and that’s the chance to sing along with Arlo Guthrie’s “Alice’s Restaurant.”<\/p>\n
