If you&#8217;ve been thinking that this whole healthcare brouhaha has nothing to do with you because you feel secure in your job, you&#8217;re wrong. The Graham-Cassidy bill will eliminate penalties on large corporations that don&#8217;t offer affordably priced healthcare to employees. That gives big companies the incentive to save money by dropping your insurance. <\/p>\n<p>In addition, while the bill doesn&#8217;t eliminate protection for pre-existing conditions outright, it will allow insurers to charge more for those, so you might be unable to afford whatever plans are available. Pre-existing conditions include things like pregnancy, so a huge percentage of women will be uninsurable. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.indivisible-ues.org\/news\/2017\/9\/24\/actions-for-week-of-september-25\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">My weekly action newsletter for my local Indivisible chapter includes ways you fight this death bill via phone calls, emails, and rallies<\/a>.
