I’m disgusted that the 2017 Emmy Awards gave Sean Spicer the opportunity to play all cutesy and “in on the joke” during the broadcast last night<\/a>. For a time, Spicer was the No. 1 liar for the white-supremacist president who is trying to tear apart our democracy. This freaky eater of gum<\/a> doesn’t deserve a chance to rehabilitate his reputation. It was especially painful to see after a week in which Hillary Clinton endured unrelenting attacks on her right to write a book based on her own goddamn experience as the first woman to be a presidential nominee for one of the two major parties. She’s an important historical figure. Spicer is a collaborator. Guess who gets patted on the back?<\/p>\n

Now I feel soured on the Emmys: Fuck the jewelry, fuck the outfits, fuck everyone who thought that giving Spicer a chance to shine was a good idea. Therefore, I’ll make this post about the winner of my prestigious Best Dressed\/Wear What You Want combo award<\/a> brief: Jane Fonda. Turning 80 this December. Amazing. I love her.
