I can’t remember exactly where or when I got my pink Stephen Sprouse skirt<\/a>, which is from his Hardcore 1988 collection. I think it was in 2006. The first photo I can find of it is from 2007.<\/p>\n

I was never satisfied with any of the tops I wore with this skirt until 2012, when my designing friend Stacy Lomman suggested pairing it with a new sweater. I’ve worn it the exact same way ever since!<\/p>\n

When I did a photo shoot of this skirt to go with yesterday’s Stephen Sprouse\/Debbie Harry-inspired YouTube video<\/a>, I didn’t change a thing.<\/p>\n

Ralph Waldo Emerson<\/a> wrote, “A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds …” but he didn’t have this Stephen Sprouse skirt.<\/p>\n
