As promised<\/a>, here’s another one of Eryn’s fancy outfit photo shoots.\u00a0 The centerpiece is the shiny, black cocktail dress I wore to my 1989 college graduation dance. I found the dress hanging around my parents’ house in 2013<\/a>. At the time, I figured I would to ask Jean from Ghost Tailor<\/a> if she could let it out at the top in order to give me some breathing room. She was successful! Here’s how the dress looks now.<\/p>\n

Like the sign in the photo above says, there’s only one way to wear this dress, and that’s with tall boots and a sense of humor.<\/p>\n

I’m keeping this dress for sentimental reasons. Normally, I don’t like to keep clothes that I’m not going to wear, but there are definitely exceptions to the rule and this is one of them. I have so few of my original clothes left from the ’80s. Who knows … it might make a good Halloween costume some day.<\/p>\n
