Thank you to Amy Elliott of jewelry publication JCK for including my Marie Antoinette design on her list of “supersize” amethyst cocktail rings<\/a> in honor of February’s birthstone.<\/p>\n

Not only is the amethyst in this ring supersize, it’s super-customized! I had the 27.64-carat cabochon specially cut to fit the setting I’d already designed. Most jewelers work the other way, but I’ve got to be me.<\/p>\n

It was also exciting to see the two-finger ring I created for ANZA Gems<\/a> on the cover of Prism, the magazine of the American Gem Trade Association<\/a>. Monica Stephenson<\/a>, the founder of ANZA<\/a>, was wearing the ring when she got her copy.<\/p>\n

So I walked into @agta_gems and @meg_whit hands me the new #ePrism magazine and the @anzagems X @wendybrandesjewelry ring is on the cover!!! Freaking out!!! The cover is KILLER, @hollyrpeete is so gorgeous, and to be part of this is a dream I could not have imagined just a year or so ago starting ANZA!
