For instance, in the town of Grand Chute, the total number of ballots cast was 3,088, but the ballots cast for the presidential vote came in at 4,214. Of those ballots, 2,844 were cast for Donald Trump and 1,194 were cast for Hillary Clinton (the rest were divided up among third parties).<\/p>\n<p><center><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The numbers display that in 3 precincts in Outagamie County, all won by DT, more votes were counted for President than cast. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/AuditTheVote?src=hash\">#AuditTheVote<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/3lIkUt6M94\">pic.twitter.com\/3lIkUt6M94<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Suzan Eraslan (@SuzanEraslan) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SuzanEraslan\/status\/801075201584795648\">November 22, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><\/center><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dansolomon\/status\/801119244989542400\" target=\"_blank\">In the official tally released today, the discrepancies have been resolved<\/a>. For Grand Chute, the number of ballots cast for president is now slightly lower than the total number of ballots cast, which is to be expected. The total number of ballots cast remains at 3,088, but the total ballots cast for president has been reduced to 3,025. The number of ballots cast for Hillary Clinton remains at 1,194, while the number of ballots cast for Donald Trump has been reduced to 1,644. If you&#8217;re on Twitter, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/leahmcelrath\" target=\"_blank\">Leah McElrath is a great account to follow for information about why these discrepancies might have occurred as well as important phone numbers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re not on Twitter, here&#8217;s is some information:<\/p>\n<p>You can call the White House at via the main switchboard at 202-456-1414. Here&#8217;s how your call might go: Someone will pick up and say, &#8220;White House.&#8221; Tell that person you&#8217;re calling about the vote. You will be transferred and put on hold with really annoying hold music for a long time but you should eventually get through. When you do get through, make your statement and say where you&#8217;re calling from. I asked if the operator needed any more information from me (like a zip code) and she said no, but you can always ask during your call in case you get a different response.<\/p>\n<p>You can also call the Department of Justice at 800-253-3931 (then press option 5) or at 202-353-1555. You will be able to leave a message. The DOJ is looking into it and taking calls. They should be in their home districts now, so rather than calling their D.C. numbers, call their local numbers. If you don&#8217;t know who your senators are, check <a href=\"http:\/\/www.senate.gov\/senators\/contact\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. Don&#8217;t forget the House of Representatives. Find your representative <a href=\"http:\/\/www.house.gov\/representatives\/find\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. Again, call local numbers. All numbers might be busy for long periods of time, which is great, because it means people are calling.
