Last Sunday, my real-life husband, MrB, accompanied me to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to see my almost-husband<\/a>, Paul McCartney, in concert.<\/p>\n

Two Pauls.<\/p><\/div>\n

I wore the t-shirt I got at the Cavern Club in Liverpool<\/a> in 2014.<\/p>\n

I had so much fun in Liverpool.<\/p><\/div>\n

I didn’t take a full outfit photo, but here’s a candid picture of my face during the almost-three-hour-long show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It was so good! Almost-husband Paul’s energy is incredible. I said to real-husband Paul, “This is how I want to be at 74<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

McCartney’s fellow Beatle Ringo Starr — who recently turned 76 years old —\u00a0 does a good show too, <\/a>complete with jumping jacks<\/a>, but he always spends a chunk of time off-stage while his All-Starr band members<\/a> do their thing. Sir Paul performed nonstop till a short break before the encores … and when he ran back out on stage, he was waving a big American flag.<\/p>\n

Then he performed four more songs. Amazing!<\/p>\n

As for the pissy people who say Sir Paul should retire<\/a>, I say …<\/p>\n

I will concede that his voice isn’t what it was FIFTY years ago, but it’s still pretty damn good.<\/p>\n
