When I first introduced my <del datetime=\"2015-12-31T20:15:07+00:00\">totally made up<\/del> extremely prestigious Best Dressed\/Wear What You Want combo award, I said it would be bestowed on an event attendee who was dressed beautifully and interestingly. <a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2015\/05\/my-best-dressed-at-the-2015-met-gala-is\/\" target=\"_blank\">Later<\/a>, it dawned on me that conventional attractiveness in dress wasn\u2019t mandatory.  \u201cIt\u2019s more important to be eye-catching,\u201d I wrote. But in Kyemah&#8217;s case, she&#8217;s got the eye-catching, interesting <em>and<\/em> beautiful categories so fully covered that I had to do an award for the whole year for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m delighted to see that Kyemah followed up her own dress with a custom red-carpet order for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmopolitan.com\/style-beauty\/fashion\/news\/a42678\/kyemah-mcentyre-designs-naturi-naughton-bet-awards-dress\/\" target=\"_blank\">singer\/actress Naturi Naughton<\/a>, and that she planned to study at Parsons School of Design here in New York.<\/p>\n<p>Keep up with Kyemah&#8217;s Instagram <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mindofkye_\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sasha Charnin Morrison &#8212; formerly the fashion director for Us Weekly &#8212; called it.
