A year ago today<\/a>, I posted a highlarious gif that shopping app Spring<\/a> created with my hockey mask and chainsaw stud earrings.<\/p>\n

When I first introduced the earrings on my blog<\/a>, I pointed out that the hockey mask is the signature of Jason Voorhees, the killer in the Friday the 13th<\/em> movies, but that Jason never carried a chainsaw. He did his killing with a machete.\u00a0 The chainsaw actually belongs to Leatherface<\/a> of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre<\/em> series. However, the mask and chainsaw became associated with each other as killer accessories with help from The Simpsons<\/em> and this guy<\/a>.<\/p>\n
