The name of Britain&#8217;s new royal princess has been revealed: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/uk-32583432\" target=\"_blank\">Charlotte Elizabeth Diana<\/a>. I&#8217;m all choked up about it. I vividly remember getting up early to watch young <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/onthisday\/hi\/dates\/stories\/july\/29\/newsid_2494000\/2494949.stm\" target=\"_blank\">Diana Spencer get married to Prince Charles in 1981<\/a> and now I&#8217;ve seen Princess Di&#8217;s first granddaughter arrive.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of arrivals, did you see little Prince George arriving with his father, William, to visit Kate and the new baby at the hospital? Cutest thing ever. Look at the wave!<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"molvideoplayer\" title=\"MailOnline Embed Player\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/embed\/video\/1180325.html\" width=\"698\" height=\"503\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/center>Most of the jewelry designs in my signature line have been inspired by female royalty, from China&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2011\/03\/jewel-of-the-month-empress-wu-dragon-ring\/\">7th-century Empress Wu<\/a> through <a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2014\/08\/mourning-at-the-metropolitan-museum\/\">Britain&#8217;s 19th-century Queen Victoria<\/a>. I&#8217;ve only done one tribute to a modern-era royal and that was, of course, for Diana, the late Princess of Wales. I find a lot of ancient royal ladies intriguing due to their wicked ways, but for Diana it was the opposite.
