I dropped by my pop-up shop <\/a>space on Sunday to take some final measurements and found two lovely ladies in temporary residence, doing their own pop-up shop. The owners of Poppet Vintage and Tahir Boutique showed me their vintage wares, including this blouson<\/a> Koos Van Den Akker<\/a> Couture dress.<\/p>\n

When I asked them to show me their favorite piece, they picked this polka-dotted Victor Costa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tuesday is the last day for the vintage pop-up shop, so if you’re in New York and like vintage, get your ass (flower) down to 48 Greenwich Avenue near Perry Street (the Union Square subway station is very close) and check out the goods. If you go between 6 PM and 8 PM, you’ll get wine and cheese, too. Just don’t forget to come back on Friday or Saturday for MY pop-up shop!<\/p>\n

Speaking of ass flowers, during the summer, a self-described “uptight” friend of mine said I shouldn’t say “ass” on the blog. She said it would be classier if I pretended to be British and said “arse.” I’m going to offer her a compromise: I won’t change “ass” to “arse” but I will upgrade “class” to “clarse.” Does that work for everyone?<\/p>\n
