I usually wear the Gloriana in yellow gold<\/a>, but the black, gray and silver of the dress inspired me to get the white gold necklace out of the vault. The Venus earrings were originally made in rose gold and rose quartz<\/a>. I also have a matching rose quartz\/rose gold necklace<\/a> and ring<\/a>; chalcedony Venus earrings<\/a>; and a rutilated quartz Venus necklace<\/a>. The Venus design reminds me of a meeting with a retailer a year ago or so. The buyers liked a lot of my designs but one vaguely waved in the direction of the Venus pieces and said, “Don’t do anymore like that. Those are bad.”A\u00a0 I had a follow-up meeting with her next week and deliberately wore the rose gold and quartz Venus earrings. “Those are beautiful.
