I’ve decided that the vintage Kenneth Cole shoes I wore on Halloween<\/a> deserve a close-up.<\/p>\n

The spats-like shoes, combined with the top hat I wore that night, made me feel like Jiminy Cricket<\/a> …<\/p>\n

I liked this outfit. I feel like just wearing it around town, minus the heavy makeup.<\/p>\n

The day after Halloween, I went to a dinner for my gorgeous friend Tina’s birthday at Butter Midtown<\/a>.\u00a0 I stuck to the black-and-white look. On top, I wore the vintage Lillie Rubin coat I got between 1992 and 1995.<\/p>\n

I’m great at putting together separates … as long as they’re black and white. Introduce another color and I need help<\/a>, as proven yesterday. Of course, I caved in and got the butterscotch patent leather boots I admired at Louis Vuitton in September<\/a>. I was excited to see that they perfectly matched a color in an old Roland Mouret skirt. All I needed was the right top, and black goes with everything, right? Grumpy Cat has the answer to that.<\/p>\n

Next time, I think I need to choose a top from Grumpy Cat’s palette — ivory or brown.<\/p>\n
