As the Times reported, attendees of runway shows being held at Milk Studios during New York Fashion Week will be greeted by a 10-foot-tall inflatable pink elephant, designed by artist Tristin Lowe. The elephant is part of a collaboration between Made Fashion Week and the Bill, Hillary &amp; Chelsea Clinton Foundation, designed to raise awareness about ivory trafficking and the killing of African elephants. (Made Fashion Week is producing more than 30 runway shows, including 15 at Milk Studios.)<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2014\/09\/04\/fashion\/the-clintons-raise-awareness-for-their-latest-cause-at-fashion-week.html?src=twr&#038;_r=0\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">CLICK TO SEE THE PINK ELEPHANT AT MILK STUDIOS<\/a>.<\/center><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m definitely in favor of helping African elephants, which I had the great pleasure of seeing <a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2013\/04\/what-wendy-wore-camouflage-and-safari-gear-in-south-africa\/\" target=\"_blank\">up close and personal during my trip to South Africa last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_27070\" style=\"width: 508px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-27070\" class=\"wp-image-27070 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/elephantresize.jpg\" alt=\"elephantresize\" width=\"498\" height=\"664\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/elephantresize.jpg 498w, https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/elephantresize-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 498px) 100vw, 498px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-27070\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">This is one of my favorite elephant photos from my South African safari.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I&#8217;m also in favor of pink elephants. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jckonline.com\/2014\/03\/05\/gold-wendy-brandes-maneater-rings\" target=\"_blank\">As I told JCK Magazine earlier this year<\/a>, one of my new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jckonline.com\/blogs\/style-360\/2013\/06\/28\/hidden-details-you-must-see-in-wendy-brandes-maneater-jewelry-series\" target=\"_blank\">Maneater rings <\/a>will feature a pink elephant.
