We finished the first season a few days ago.\u00a0 &#8220;Shoot&#8221; &#8212; episode 9 of season 1 &#8212; has really stuck with me. During the last few moments of that one, MrB and I kept looking at each other and saying, &#8220;THIS IS GREAT!&#8221; I immediately got online to save some screen caps for future blog use, and I&#8217;ve realized, belatedly, that Mother&#8217;s Day is the perfect time to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amctv.com\/mad-men\/videos\/9-betty-shoots-the-pigeons\" target=\"_blank\">ogle Betty Draper shooting pigeons<\/a> while a cigarette dangles from her mouth.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-25725\" src=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/betty.png\" alt=\"betty\" width=\"498\" height=\"267\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/betty.png 500w, https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/betty-300x160.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 498px) 100vw, 498px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Is she stylish, or what?!
