Forty percent is for cats. Ten percent is for idiots to write irrational comments on news sites. Five percent is for <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WendyBrandes\/statuses\/458984286583267328\" target=\"_blank\">very young people and one large blogging platform to misuse the word &#8220;literally.&#8221;<\/a> The final five percent is for the rest of us.<\/p>\n<p>I was thinking of all of this because <a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2012\/04\/introducing-fitzroy\/\" target=\"_blank\">FitzRoy<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/fitzroythecat.tumblr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> the cat<\/a> is killing it on <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/fitzroy_the_cat\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram<\/a> lately. It&#8217;s no big thing for my Exotic Shorthair kitteh (aka <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheCatInTheBowl\" target=\"_blank\">The Cat in the Bowl<\/a>) to get 300 likes on one of his photos. But this week, he blew past his old records. As of today, he has 861 likes on this picture!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/p\/nCLKq5Kj0H\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-25350\" src=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/fitzgram.jpg\" alt=\"fitzgram\" width=\"498\" height=\"299\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/fitzgram.jpg 1018w, https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/fitzgram-300x180.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 498px) 100vw, 498px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now I&#8217;m wondering if he can get to 1,000.
