I never use it anymore. My new line is, &#8220;In fifteen minutes everybody will be famous.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I will now present my most recent claim to fame.<\/p>\n<p>The very boss <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kristopherdukes.com\/\">Kristopher Dukes<\/a> asked me to compile a wish list for ThisNext.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thisnext.com\/list\/BCB53FFA\/Wendys-Wish-List\">Here it is<\/a>. As you will see, I&#8217;m trying to take my case for <a href=\"http:\/\/wbjewelry.blogspot.com\/2007\/10\/obsessions-some-old-some-new.html\">fish feet<\/a> to a wider public. I know Coco and I will be able to bond while talking about custom-made ass jewelry.<\/p>\n<p>You think your life would be changed by fame, but I just found out that I was chosen for &#8220;15 minutes of fame&#8221; on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iqons.com\/Wendy+Brandes\">Iqons<\/a> on October 22 and never knew. Clearly I need to log on to that site more often, but it&#8217;s so hard to keep up with the blog, everyone else&#8217;s blogs, all the social networking sites, etc. I know, I know&#8230;famous people like me shouldn&#8217;t complain about the little inconveniences of celebrity.<\/p>\n<p>Someone who didn&#8217;t miss her 15 minutes of fame was Warhol superstar and drag queen Candy Darling. <a href=\"http:\/\/liebemarlene.blogspot.com\/\">Rhiannon<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/liebemarlene.blogspot.com\/2007\/11\/inspiration-candy-darling.html\">posted about Candy<\/a> on Friday. I have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Andy-Warhol-Candy-Darling-World\/dp\/094536721X\">My Face for the World to See<\/a>, published in 1992 by a friend of Candy&#8217;s. It is a mix of Candy&#8217;s writings, drawings and photos presented as a girlie pink diary complete with lock and key. You can find the book on Amazon and eBay. Here are some photos of my copy. Literally. It was so musty-smelling that I had an allergy attack.
