This photo isn’t in very good condition, but I still love it. I believe it’s from the early ’80s. That’s my gorgeous mother, BarbaraB<\/a>, on the right, and her stylish friend Ursula on the left.<\/p>\n

BarbaraB doesn’t have a look of disapproval on her face, but something about her expression — plus the angle and distance between Mom and Ursa —\u00a0 made me think of the famous picture of Sophia Loren eyeing Jayne Mansfield’s bosom.<\/p>\n

Ursula was so chic and severe. She reminded me of sex-ay villain Ursa from 1980’s Superman II<\/em><\/a>. Hmmm … she even has the full sleeves.<\/p>\n
