{"id":21619,"date":"2013-07-22T16:14:23","date_gmt":"2013-07-22T20:14:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/?p=21619"},"modified":"2013-07-22T17:12:35","modified_gmt":"2013-07-22T21:12:35","slug":"the-royal-baby-boy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/the-royal-baby-boy\/","title":{"rendered":"The Royal Baby Boy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am pleased to see that <a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2011\/04\/kate-middleton-for-the-win\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kate Middleton<\/a>, the Duchess of Cambridge, has had a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.people.com\/people\/package\/article\/0,,20395222_20713058,00.html\" target=\"_blank\">baby boy<\/a>, though I confess I was hoping for a little queen-to-be.\u00a0 Many of the designs in my signature jewelry line are inspired by <a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/store\/categories.php?category=Inspiration\/Royalty\" target=\"_blank\">queens<\/a> and other royal wimmins. I don&#8217;t usually work with contemporary personalities, so I&#8217;m not sure a baby girl would have resulted in a jewelry design anyway, but you never know. I was thrilled to be on the receiving end of a <a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2012\/07\/london-bloggers-the-queen-and-the-rock-n-roll-cobbler\/\" target=\"_blank\">queenly drive-by last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>UPDATED AGAIN TO ADD: Oh, and the baby was born on my 12th wedding anniversary with MrB! Good choice of date, princeling. Here&#8217;s a photo of MrB and I from last night, after our <a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/what-wendy-wore-dressing-to-please-a-man-part-i\/\" target=\"_blank\">dinner with Zang<\/a>.
