I found another 1980s photo of me wearing my friend Jim’s turquoise leather jacket <\/a>(by the way, I’m STILL looking for the turquoise jacket of my dreams after returning a discolored one<\/a>.) This photo was taken indoors right before or after the outdoor photo post here<\/a> was taken.<\/p>\n

The fact that there is more than one photo from that day says a lot about how much I adored Jim’s jacket. We were using real film in cameras back then, so we couldn’t take a million pictures of the same outfit like we do digitally. I was obviously extra-determined to properly immortalize this look.<\/p>\n

I’m glad I used the extra film because I was able to spot a detail that got lost in the outdoor shot. In my right ear (on your left), I’m wearing one of my then-favorite single earrings … one that I still have! I posted a picture of it last year.<\/p>\n
